We intuitively believe that the needs of our babies come first. I love that you say that...</title><content type='html'>This is a great post Sam. I love that you say that it&amp;#39;s okay to say &amp;quot;no&amp;quot; and still practice child-led weaning. It&amp;#39;s not an all-or-nothing situation where moms have to feel at the plight of their nursling. But from personal experience I can say that telling a child &amp;quot;no&amp;quot; and then being on the receiving end of the tantrum can lead to less saying no and more giving in. My son is 23 months old, and while we&amp;#39;d love him to choose his own weaning time - I&amp;#39;m feeling more and more I need some mommmy space!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My nearly 6 month old began his introduction to solids by &amp;quot;swiping&amp;quot; a bit of his brother&amp;#39;s sandwich.
